My brother is travelling with his family including a baby – do you have any baby things in the chalet e.g. travel cot, highchair etc?
Yes, we have two cots, bedding, linen, high chairs, fire guard and stairgates for the first floor living area, changing mat, baby bath, wooden toys and plastic dining utensils.
Do I understand correctly that you have toboggans at the chalet?
Yes, we have ten wooden sledges for our guests’ use.
Is there the possibility of a camp-bed or similar for one of the children, to avoid them sharing a double bed?
Yes, we have two mattresses that can easily be made up in any bedroom.
What is the Fly-Rail Baggage Service for those travelling to Switzerland?
Getting to Arosa Arosa is located about 160km south east of Zurich and easy to get to by rail or road from Zurich International Airport, but the final ascent by road from Chur to Arosa involves 365 bends and there’s little need for a car once in the resort, so rail transfer is recommended.
How far are you from the lifts that would take us to the mountains?
All three Ski schools are on the bus line – a free route directly from Chalet Runca. One stop takes 5 minutes from just twenty metres from the chalet ski room. Another bus stop ‘Skischule’ takes you to Inner Arosa, and is 12 minutes door to door from the chalet.
Q) How far from the town?
We are in the heart of this mountain town. Arosa offers so much for everyone – forest trails, dairy, open air ice rink, shops, boutiques, indoor swimming spa’s, amenities, cinema, bars restaurants, nightclubs. We are 300m from Postrasse, the main street of Arosa. There is a forest trail to the top end and walk paths to the bottom end. The bus route gives free door to door access for extra convenience.

From the food to the ski rentals and everything in between, Helen and Mike did an incredible job during our stay!
They were very hospitable and answered all our (many) questions about the area and gave some excellent recommendations.
I would love to visit arosa again in the winter as the snow was fantastic! I just wished I could have stayed longer…
Carley from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Jan 2012.
