    We are here to help make your holiday a Success:-

    Baggage pick up from Arosa Station

    Rooms made up with linen, towel and bathrobe per person.  

    Snow Clearing of all access paths around the Chalet 

    A Snow Bar for a weekly drinks around the fire - on a clear starry night.

    FOOD & DRINK

    Crate of beer chilled for your Arrival.

    The Chalet will be ready by 4pm on Arrival Day

    Homemade Cake and hot drinks will be served over a Welcome chat 

    Kids Tea

    Three Course Meal, with wine.

    Hot & Cold Breakfast: Six days of Seven

    We do not provide lunch.  The kitchen is closed to guests.

    Midweek (your chefs Day Off), the Kitchen is only open at breakfast for Cold Breakfast and we recommend the best places in Arosa to suit your party.  Will you want Gault Milau, a Pizzeria, a Fondue or Raclette, a Fish Restaurant, a Grill, Mexican, Chinese - or Burger & Chips?  Do you want to arrive by Horse & Sleigh, by Piste Basher, by Toboggan, by Foot, by Night Bus, by Skidoo?

  2. What food and drink can I expect on a Catered Chalet Holiday in Chalet Runca?

    Each day you wake up to a continental breakfast of muesli, hot toast, fresh bread, spreads, Arosa yoghurt and fresh fruit served with fruit juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate, and on six of the seven days of your stay we’ll provide a hot cooked breakfast dish and steaming bowls of porridge to see you through to lunch time on the mountain.

    To warm you up when you get back from the slopes, you have tea and coffee waiting for you along with freshly baked biscuits and cakes.

    An early evening homemade yummy two-course “Kids Teas” is served around 6pm.

    Then Adults enjoy pre dinner drinks and canapes in the living room - with mountain views and a crackling fire.
    Into the dining room for a candlelit three course dinner party of fresh, inspiring cuisine, served with carefully selected wines.

    A sample menu:

    hot breakfast: egg baked toast with cinnamon sugar
    afternoon tea: brownies
    canapes: apple wedges and baked camembert dip with white wine & garlic
    starter: onion bhajis with raita
    main: duck breast in port & orange sauce, celeriac mash, aubergine & med veg timbale, green beans wrapped in bacon
    dessert: home made fig & brandy ice cream with almond tuiles
     

     

    The chef and host have their well earned day off mid-week when Continental breakfast is laid out and hot drinks are available. Dining in one of Arosa’s restaurants at night promises to be a special night out, so we are happy to advise on eating options in resort and to book on your behalf.
